Dedicated to the memory of Helen Glover
This site is a tribute to Helen Glover, who was born in Staffordshire on October 17th 1947. She was much loved and will always be remembered.
As you might have known Helen our beautiful mum/wife/sister/auntie/grandma & very recently great grandma had pulmonary fibrosis diagnosed in 2016 but we suspect she had it for a lot longer & sadly it took her life suddenly on February 13th 2021. She was such a brave soul & got on with her illness just accepting which ever treatment path she was lead down, sadly in the latter months her condition worsened & she was losing her fighting spirit but still kept going with her chats to family, her puzzles & enjoying a gin & tonic or 2 or 3 in the evening, we all miss her so much.
We couldn't think of a more fitting charity to send donations if you wish to, especially as her dad passed from the same illness. So we would ask that if you were thinking of bringing flowers to please donate instead.
